2021 SHUDBA Conference -The Challenges of Management in the Post-pandemic Era Call for papers
The Department of Business Administration of Shih-Hsin University has long focused its research and teaching in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, especially in the context of Chinese ethnic Business. To continuously advance the research and teaching, we are now organizing an international conference entitled “The Challenges of Management in the Post-pandemic Era.” The conference will take place virtually on Wednesday 8 December 2021. The program committee sincerely invites you to submit your research work, attending the conference and presenting your papers via the online platform.
Theme
Over the years, technological progress has been accelerating, and globalization has swept the world to intensify competition. How to pursue survival and growth under technological changes and fierce competition has become an important challenge that enterprises must face today. The COVID-19 that began in 2020 broke the pace of industrial globalization for a long time, and at the same time further accelerate the development of remote work and online consumption. The impact of the epidemic has forced enterprises and managers to quickly transform and innovate to respond to the environmental change.These unpredictable changes will make corporate operations more internationalized or more localized? Will the international flow of talents ease or accelerate? How is the corporate innovation and entrepreneurship different from the past?
Session tracks
We accepts submissions written in English or Chinese on the following topics (but not limited to):
(1) Service and marketing management: new service development, service industry cases, customer relationship management, and social media applications.
(2) Corporate ethics and financial management: corporate financial management, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, corporate ethics cases, etc.
(3) Chinese business management: family business, inheritance and succession, cross-strait SME management, corporate decision-making, organizational behavior, strategic management, etc.
(4) Creativity and innovation management: personal and organizational creativity, product innovation, process/process innovation, organizational innovation, strategy innovation, business model innovation, service innovation, etc.
Please submit abstract, 500-800 words long, to ba@mail.shu.edu.tw before the deadline, November 1, 2021
